Eagle-eyed readers will notice that we’ve added another blogger. Miriam Libicki (aka Miriam Beetle) is the creator of jobnik!, a comic about her experiences in the Israeli Army. She’s also a longtime reader of this blog, where her comments have, with some regularity, been more interesting than my posts. We’re very pleased to have her join us as a regular blogger. Good to have you aboard, Miriam!
you spelled my comic wrong, mr. berlansky.
i'm glad to be here! i hope i can come up with some interesting posts & don't totally let everyone down.
also, i promise to use capital letters & search-&-replace my ampersands when i post on the front page.
Crap. I’ve corrected it. But at least it shows you going in the high standards for accuracy and care we try to adhere to on this blog….
There’s no need to correct punctuation idiosyncracies on my account. Tom’s a proofreader, though, I think, so maybe he feels differently….
Oh, and that’s Barlanskyavitchstein. Get it right, please.
Hi, Miriam, great news that you’ve signed on.
For my part, I always think that starting a sentence with a capital letter helps keeps readers sane, which for a lot of them is an uphill battle.
