Similar but opposite: Nazi vampires.(c) Cuz the Nazis wear swastikas, and swastikas are crosses, Nazi vampires should be immune to crosses. (TM)
…On the other hand, you'd have to hold out Stars of David to repel Jewish vampires, wouldn't you? Cuz crosses wouldn't mean sh*t to them.
The Star of David for the Jewish vampire schtick has been done many times, I"m afraid…..
That means the Jewish vampire schtick has also been done to death.
So I can definitely get a series deal.
Toss in a couple zombies, and I bet Marvel would bite.
it's been done. but apparently, not well, which is too bad, cause it kind of sounds up my alley.
I got it: Jewish vampires as lawyers ; courtroom, procedural drama + supernatural horror. Title: BLOOD LIBEL Someone call HBO.
Damn, I thought of that last night and then forgot. Okay, credit goes to you.
I can't believe that nobody's mentioned J.M. DeMatteis and Steve Leialoha's 1981 book for Marvel, Greenberg the Vampire, yet.
I also can't believe I didn't click Miriam's link before that last post. D'oh!
Man, I hated that book. It doesn't really deserve hatred, but vampire stories tend to make me grouchy.
I can't believe this many people know it
I don't know if any of you read Rue Morgue, but they have an article on the Nazi zombie subgenre. So, I say we pit Jewish vampires against Nazi zombies.

Tastefully, of course.
