I’m very pleased to announce that Caroline Small (better known to our comments readers as Caro) is going to be joining the Hooded Utilitarian as a regular blogger. In her day job, Caro runs the Flebus Project, a digital humanities collective that preserves mid-20th-century visual culture. Is the Flebus Project online? Doesn’t seem to come up on a simple Google search.
I think the site is down for maintenance, if I understand aright…
Not so much maintenance as new construction. We’ve got a very boilerplate placeholder page up at flebus.org.
Hopefully we’ll get something a little more interesting up in the next few weeks: there just aren’t enough of us to prioritize an exciting website without slacking on our reason-to-exist database work.
